Join us for our Chamber Member SPOTlight Tour of New Energy Works & Pioneer Millworks (a 2023 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 company) on October 4th located in Farmington.

New Energy Works is a Design + Build, Timberframing & Woodworking company, and Pioneer Millworks is a manufacturing company that produces sustainable and reclaimed wood flooring, paneling, siding, and decking. Both companies are employee-owned as one ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) and are bi-coastal with offices in New York and Oregon.

New Energy Works & Pioneer Millworks both operate on the triple bottom line philosophy putting equal emphasis on people, planet, and profit. We’ve been designing and crafting sustainable timber frames, enclosures, fine woodworking, and building materials across the nation for 30+ years with our dedicated team of craftspeople, dreamers, and community members. As an ESOP, our company has strived to support skilled trades as a solid, long-term career path with a livable wage, benefits, and work-life balance in the greater Rochester area for decades. Our expansive Farmington New York campus is home to our main offices, showroom, mill, timber frame shop, fine woodworking shop, and manufacturing facilities, with similar footprint and facilities on the west coast in Portland & McMinnville Oregon.

*While the tours are designed to last around an hour, ensuring that we honor everyone's packed schedules, members are encouraged to network with each other after the tour concludes, provided it works for the hosting organization.

Chamber Member SPOTlight tours take you to Greater Rochester/Finger Lakes’ hottest businesses on their own turf. In their own words, business leaders will share their success stories – right where the action happens. These behind-the-scenes tours are a perfect way to gain perspective on the industry segments powering our region’s economy.

Space is limited, so only 2 per company may register.
