Greater ROC Young Professionals: Seneca Park Zoo Cleanup
Wednesday, April 29, 2026 (1:30 PM - 5:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
*In-Person Volunteer Opportunity & Social Hour*
Greater Rochester Chamber invites you to Seneca Park Zoo on Wednesday, April 29th to get together and give back to the community at Seneca Park Zoo. This event is presented as part of our Greater ROC Young Professionals (GRYP) initiative and will conclude with a happy hour.
From cleanup events to workforce development, Seneca Park Zoo is focused on bringing conservation efforts right into our own backyard. We'll be working with the zoo's conservation team to support flora and fauna in our community through a trash cleanup effort to keep plastic and other waste out of our waterways.
Tools, bags, and gloves will be provided, so just bring water and be sure to dress accordingly for the weather.
Schedule:
1:30pm - 3:30pm | Volunteer Project
3:30pm - 4:00pm | Break/Freshen up
4:00pm - 5:00pm | Happy Hour + Networking
