50 Years of Orchids in the Flower City Show and Sale

Description
Genesee Region Orchid Society's 50th Show and sale is a 3 day event for viewing, shopping and learning about Orchids. Over a half dozen vendors selling Orchids, supplies and even jewelry made with real orchids including Bergen Water Gardens, Windswept in time, Oakwood Orchids, J&L Orchids, Flask & Flora, and more. Arouse your senses by viewing and smelling exhibits of magnificent blooming orchids by vendors, local members and surrounding organizations. As well as exhibits by our local Ikebana International Rochester and Bergen Bog. Bring in your pot bound orchids and have them repotted by our experts for a small fee. Various orchid talks take place throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday. Established in June 1968, the Genesee Region Orchid Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization registered in the State of New York. The object of the Society is to stimulate interest in orchids and educate members and the public in their culture, propagation, improvement, use and conservation. Proceeds from their Annual Show and Sale goes to brining in expert speakers to present at their monthly meetings and donations to various other causes including Lamberton Conservatory's and Sonnenburg gardens' orchid collections.
