Monroe County First Responders Memorial Dedication

On October 28, 2026, National First Responders Day, we will dedicate a new monument to the First Responders Memorial Circle on the Civic Center Plaza to honor the fallen. Monroe County Fire, EMS and Emergency Communications personnel who paid the ultimate sacrifice will be represented on the new monument.

This monument joins other first responder monuments, to include the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Rochester Police Department and  Rochester Fire Department, in our circle of remembrance.
