Nature’s Splendor — Art Exhibit by Laura Davis

1/1/2026 - 3/31/2026

Description

Nature’s Splendor is a rotating art exhibit featuring original paintings by local artist Laura Davis. The collection showcases oil paintings inspired by the beauty of nature, architectural details, and scenes from travels throughout Europe and the United States. The work reflects Davis’s Impressionist influence, characterized by visible brushstrokes, vibrant colors, and an engaging sense of light and movement. The exhibition also includes familiar views from the Rochester and Pittsford region.

Davis is a retired social worker and long-time member and exhibit coordinator of the Pittsford Art Group, with more than 25 years of experience participating in regional art shows. Her ongoing contributions to the local arts community underscore the show’s relevance for residents and visitors alike.

The Friendly Home regularly hosts rotating exhibits to promote creativity, cultural engagement, and community connection for seniors, families, staff, and visitors. This exhibit is free and open to the public. The exhibit is on view throughout the winter season. For more information, visit FriendlySeniorLiving.org.
